In April of 2020, we supported Cabo Verde and the Cabo Verdean community living in Portugal with the medical and protective materials necessary to fight against COVID-19.
Through the embassy in Lisbon, we were able to send protective masks, respirators, antibacterial gels, masks made from nanofibers and disinfectant wipes to Cabo Verde. We dedicated a pulmonary ventilator to the Ministry of Health. The Civil Defense part of Cabo Verde has acquired an ozonizer that can be used to easily disinfect indoor areas and ambulances, where patients infected with COVID-19 are present.
