The Naděje Cabo Verde Foundation is establishing a strategic partnership with ESSENS EUROPE SE, a respected European producer of perfumes, cosmetics, and nutritional supplements. This cooperation will enable the foundation to join the ESSENS business model and sell its products directly in Cabo Verde. The foundation remains a non-profit organisation, and its mission, values, and legal status remain unchanged. However, this new initiative will create a financial resource that provides greater stability and independence.
Thanks to its excellent price-to-quality ratio, ESSENS cosmetics are widely popular, and they are expected to quickly attract customers among both tourists and Cape Verdeans. This creates a real opportunity to establish a long-term source of income that will help cover part of the foundation’s operational costs. More than one million two hundred thousand tourists will visit Cabo Verde this year, representing a natural customer base. Cape Verdean women and men will also play an important role. Involving local partners will not only expand the sales network but also offer people in the community an opportunity for extra income and personal development.
The revenue from these activities will be used exclusively to support the foundation’s public-benefit projects. Income from the sale of ESSENS cosmetics will fund the operation of the community centre in Santa Cruz, expand the capacity of the Družina education programme, and strengthen support for families facing difficult social circumstances. It will also help maintain and further develop the Dream House project, which provides families with children a safe and stable home environment. Thanks to the supportive approach of ESSENS, the foundation’s work will bring joy not only to customers but also to many families and children.
The partnership with ESSENS does not represent a commercialisation of the foundation’s mission but a well-considered step towards long-term financial sustainability. The Naděje Cabo Verde Foundation will therefore be able to plan its charitable work with greater certainty and continue helping where help is truly needed.
